| Macau was colonized by the Portuguese, and much of the architecture is reflective of that. There are some truly beautiful areas, but the country is not as cohesively nice as it could be. It's not nearly as well planned as Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, and the people were a bit rude at times. Plus our hotel(The Regency) was kind of low-end (despite the 5-star rating), which made our visit start off on a bad note. Jackie wasn't pleased, which doesn't usually bode well for me. |
