| April Holiday 2008 |
| In April 2008, I finally made my way back to the States, after over a 2 year hiatus. I had just started seeing Jackie before the holiday, so we talked and emailed each other daily during the break. We weren't yet an item, but I acted as if because I was so excited about the possibility. I started out my break by going back home to Norwich and visiting family and friends there. Then I visited my younger brother at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, my old stomping grounds. After that, made my way to Colorado where I stayed with my boy Worth at Breckenridge and got a bunch of riding in. Flew back to Norwich to spend more time at home and then hopped a train to New York for a couple days before flying back to Bangkok. My friend Tobin generously hosted me at his apartment in Manhattan. It was great to catch up with people that I hadn't seen in a long while and to breathe a bit of good old fashioned American air. |
