| Ko Phangan and Ko Tao, Thailand |
| We got about 10 days off work for Christmas 2006. Adam and I decided to head down to Ko Phangan and Ko Tao to get our PADI scuba certification, and, of course, to party. Both were successfully accomplished, as we lived under the sea around Ko Tao, and spent New Years Eve on Ko Phangan attending the biggest beach party in the world. About 20-30,000 people. Off the hook. |
| We flew into the Ko Samui airport, which is hella nice by the way, and immediately hopped on a ferry for neighboring Ko Phangan. We managed to find an awesome bungalow down the peninsula, about 10 minutes walk from the main beach. Perfect. Serenity by day, debauchery by night. Killer combo. Top Hill Resort, run by my girl Malika, is an awesome place to stay. Go there. |
